It all started a few weeks after I came home from college for summer break after my freshman year. My friend Alex called me and convinced me to come out bowling on a group date. There was five of us going... I knew how this was going to go..  I'd be the fifth wheel, but I went anyway. The night started out okay. We were all laughing and having fun. I was texting the guy I had been talking to all year at school (who was a total jerk) inbetween my turns up to bowl. At the same time I was texting Alex (who was sitting right beside me, typical girls ha) about how cute "he" was meaning Curt. She pushed me to talk to him and just have a good time and I did. We talked about his tattoo and just random stuff. At the end of the night the guys went their way and the girls went ours, but I continued to text Curt trying to convince him and his friend to come over to my house since my parents were out of town for the holiday. I reeled them in by telling them I had a hot tub... little did I know it was broken. After the disappointment of the broken hot tub, we went downstairs and watched movies and had a great night. The following night I threw a party at my house to get to know Curt better and we all had a blast! From that night on we hung out every single night, until finally on June 2nd at Olive Garden, Curt asked me to be his girlfriend <3

My three best friends, Brad, Brandon, and Kujo had a tradition when we were all back home.  Every Friday night, we would go to the bowling alley for glow bowling to have some fun. We had all came home from college a few weeks prior, and I had just started a Landscaping job.  I got off of a long, hot day at work and Brandon calls me to ask me what my plans are for the night.  I had a job to go finish on Saturday morning so I told him that I was most likely staying in for the night because I was tired.  He lured me in when he told me that there were going to be some girls coming along to the bowling alley this time, so I said what the hell and went along.  We got to the bowling alley and we met the three girls that came along.  One girl in particular caught my immediate attention.  She was extremely cute, and her smile lit up the room.  If you know me, You know that I'm not one to be shy, but for some reason, I was a little bit shy on this night.  The lights went down and the music started playing....and we started bowling.  In between turns, I was texting a girl from college that I was kind of talking to (going nowhere of course).  Courtney was actually the one to start the conversation.  She came over to me and complemented me on my tattoo, and we had some small talk for the rest of the night.  We all went our separate ways, and I thought the night was over, but it wasn't.  Shortly after I got home, I got a text from a number that I didn't realize.  As you could probably guess, it was Courtney.  She invited Brandon and I to come over to her house to hang out with the group that was bowling.  I declined at first, because I had to be at work in 6 hours....then she reeled me in...she told me that she had a hot tub!  So Brandon and I met them half way at Oregon Dairy.  Courtney was driving, so I got in the front seat and Brandon hopped in the back.  We start driving and Courtney starts flying around a turn in Oregon Dairy, I held on for dear life because I thought I was gonna die!!!!!!! (just kidding, she'll tell you how terrible my driving is too)  The kicker to this story is that when we got there, the hot tub didn't even work!!!! So we just went down in her basement and watched movies the rest of the night.  The next day after work, I got a text inviting me to a party at her house, since her parents were gone for the holiday weekend.  I was obviously interested in her, so Brandon, Brad and I went to the party that night.  Courtney and I really got to know each other and hit it off great.  For the next week, we hung out every day.  That Friday, I took her out on a date to Olive Garden to ask her to be my girlfriend....and the rest was history!
