My friend Korie invited me to a girls night out.  I hadn't had a night out in FOREVER!!!  We had a few drinks and she walks up to me and says "lets go to the casino".  I rolled my eyes becuase I literally despise the casino.  WITH A PASSION people, with a passion!  Of course I went, sat at the bar having NO IDEA how to play video poker.  I look to my left and my friends were talking, look to my right and there are a group of guys.  I looked back to my left and knew I wasn't getting any help so I said alloud "does any one know how to play this thing".

And there he was.

Ryan Martin Day

He asked me for my phone number.  I DID NOT want to give it to him.  He's to young for me, he's not my type, he's literally wearing LSU shorts and a T-Shirt Bridget...really?! But he sat there, completely refusing to give up.  I did give him my phone number and truth be told, I almost gave him a fake one.

Ryan was relentless!  He never gave up, would not quit... until I said yes, and that (along with so much more) is why I've said yes every day since.  Ryan IS relentless and he will never give up on me or us or our family.

I had just finished going to an LSU football game with clients and friends.  My friends were all at the house and we decided to go to the Casino.  Little did I know that I would meet the love of my life that night.  Tired, but still having fun, we crusied through the Casino to the back bar.  I saw this beautiful woman walk towards the bar with a group of friends and I pointed Bridget out to the guys and I wanted to talk to her.  To my surprise, she turned to me and Taylor asking if either of us knew how to play video poker.  Taylor moved to the side and I moved over to her.  I was nervous (and I'm rarely nervous about anything).  We ended up playing for a while, moved to the blackjack table and before I knew it, it was 4:00 a.m.

I was nervous about asking for her number, but thought "what the hell, the worst she will do is":

1.  Give me the wrong number

2.  Contemplate it and give me the right number

We talked and talked and I was not leaving without her number!  I asked and she gave me a number.  But was this the RIGHT number?!?

The first thing I did after we parted ways was text the number.  I was loosing faith, but I WAS NOT DUBBED!

After that day she has become my best friend, my love, my personal shrink at times!  She has stood beside me thought the last 3 years, and I would not want anyone else standing beside me through our journey of life.
