On July 2015, this wonderful man planned a super short trip for us to Cancun, Mexico.  I thought, "He's crazy" because it would only be a 4-day weekend, but I went along with the planning.  As we arrived at the El Paso Airport and checked-in, my lovely fiance forgot his passport!!  I said, "This cannot be happening."  I have never missed a flight in my life!  Well, he took a taxi cab home to get his passport (his house was at least 30 minutes away; I waited at the airport).  Needless to say,  we missed our flight :(  He was too nervous because he knew I was it, I was going to be his wife and there was no going back, his bachelor days were over :)

We were able to fly out the next morning at 6:00am....the rest of our trip was AMAZING!!  The most amazing part was on 4th of July when he proposed.  We were walking by the beach, headed back to our room when he begins to tell me he would love to spend the rest of his life with me.  At this very moment, I knew he would ask me to be his wife.  He got down on one knee and said, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"  And of course I said YES!
